Right now I'm looking at adding some fish to 90 gal it contains a golden severam and 2 silver dollars. I'm looking for a fish that is active, colorful, and doesn't like to bred (I have enough problems with my cories and cleaning the tank for 30mins twice a week). My water conditions are almost always ideal and I'm running over filtration and a uv sterilzer on the tank as well as weekly water changes. I've been suggested by my local fish friends on rasboras or bosemani rainbow.
I've been able to find very little infromation on bosemani rainbows on the net I've heard they are aggressive (as is apparently my severam but I've seemed to luck out on my fishes flacid attuitude towards life).
Could anyone share there experiences with these fish or suggest another colorful larger (under 5") schooling fish.

Boesemani rainbows would be a great addition :) They are a *schooling* fish and most people who have had problems with them in regards to aggression, aren't keeping them in a proper sized school, myself included :*) They are great fish - lots of color and very active

I have 6 Boesmani's in my 55G. They are not aggressive at all. The males can be a litttle demanding of the females though. Especially if you have java moss or java fern. They will spawn on these. There should be 2 females to every males so the females don't get harrassed too much. They are quite pricy where I am, I paid nearly $100 for the 6.

i have 4 in my 46G and would recommend them to anyone...you'd find more info by searching for the scientific name "Melanotaenia boesmani" ....i wouldn't call them an agressive fish at all (and even if they were agressive will not harm a sev or silvar dollar!)...here the cost ranges between $6 and $10 per fish...in a tank your size i would go with at least 6 - they also prefer a heavily planted tank

I have 5 in a 50G tank, 2 males and 3 females. They are beautiful to watch displaying to each other, especially now they are becoming adult coloured. I big school would look great though!

Only thing as already said they are quite expensive, £10/fish seems to be the going rate round here :S
