YURKSHMESH!
I love the Borat. He make me laugh like chickan in Kazahkstan. We have many chickans that are laughing there. They laugh at tha women as they lick mah boot, and carry mah donkey across the riverrr.
I saw it last night. It really made me giggle. It took me a little while to get into it (ok - about 5 minutes!) but the time flew past and it made me laugh lots afterwards too.
I saw it last night as well. Very funny- very wrong also, but funny. And nice to see a happy ending, of sorts- didn't expect that. Loved the 'gypsies' though. And the Christian group.
One of my favourite bits was when he threw his bag on the pavement in depair, with the poor chicken inside (i'm easily amused). Also the pair of them fighting in the hotel, rolling about naked!!! And plus the fact borat had a big long (his must be biiiig) black bit covering up his man bits.
It was funny but a different kind of funny. During the whole movie I found myself wondering what americans were in on it and the americans which weren't.
Well, I was reading that a load of people are trying to sue him, apparently most of the villagers, the guys who picked him up on the highway, the rodeo leader guy, the B&B owners, the driving instructor and possibly a few more.
now, before anyone starts thinking that the "extras" in Borat are representative of the entire SE US, i'd like to point out that *I* am a native of Birmingham, AL and there are several other people on the forum who are from this area. i like to think that you can see the distinction between individuals.
that said, I can't wait to see it too! sounds delicious...
