Bolovion Ram &tiger Barbs

would anyone happily put Bolovion Rams and Tiger Barbs together mixed with a bit of Platy and 2 Spotted Catfish?

I am getting a Bolivian ram pair in the next few days and I have found out that the rams feel more secure when they are in a tank with smaller tetras. If you are getting rams get a pair because then they will show their colouration and activity. I think the rams should go with the fish you mentioned but it all depends on the size of your tank and the water pH, temperature. Make sure you have caves too.

i wouldnt happily put them together. but i had considered the idea myself. i was going to go with a large group of tiger barbs, close to 10. plant heavily. and watch the tank closely. the larger ur group of barbs the more likely it should work out ok i think

edit: could u give more information on "spotted catfish"? there are a few that could have a name like that

edit2: actually, i just checked ur profile. in a 12uk gallon tank, no i would not do this. 12uk gallon is too small for rams, they need 80L minimum. the barbs would encounter them far too frequently in a 55L tank and the tank size also restricts the number of barbs considerably, making them more prone to fin nipping.
