What are some good ideas for making my 20 gallon BR friendly? What should I put in it(rocks,terra-cotta pots)?

Moderate amount of plants and at least 2 caves, preferably 1 on either side (or at least 1 obvious hiding spot per side). Try not to make it symmetrical though, as when the dominant ram claims one side, it might get confused by the similarity and think it owns both sides by mistake (no idea about this tbh but may as well avoid it if you can). Other than that, not much needs to be done.

Both terracotta pots and rocks are fine, the fish don't have a preference. Just make sure the rocks are inert.

plants to break up some sight, caves (try and put these where they dont have a fantastic line of sight) this is becuase if it is a dominant ram it cant go and chase other fishes away from miles away lol ^^

rocks etc all sorts of stuff tbh =]

Also sand or pea gravle they like to eat off the ground and with large gravle it's hard for them to do that. Plants are always good. Rocks wood rock caves. They like to feel safe the more hide outs you give them the more you will see them.

If you add other fish make sure none are too big and pushy. A school of peaceful fish would be nice.

this is how im thinking of setting it up

left is how it is now and on the right is how i want it to be.
In the picture on the right at the bottom left corner is a cave covered in gravel on the right side of that picture is a pile of rocks.
