Please help...!
Have had this piece of Bogwood in tank for 2 weeks and have noticed some white stuff starting to grow on it.
Unsure whether its safe or not.
Any ideas...? image.jpg

It's sort of fungus that grows on the last bits of nutrient leaching from the wood.

It's not harmful and will go away in time, once the nutrients are gone; some fish like to eat it. You could take the wood out and wash it off, but it might come back for a few weeks.

Thanks and much appreciated for advice.
Wife was telling me to get rid of Bogwood, but planing on getting a Bristtlenose Pleco and I think they like Bogwood.
Let me know if I'm wrong...!

No, you're quite right; bristlenoses actually need lignin in their diet to stay healthy, and they get that by rasping at the wood :good:
