Blue Ram Growing A Horn?

Hi everyone, I've just come back from being away for a couple of days to discover a strange lump on the top of my rams head. He seems to have a redder face than usual (I wasn't sure if it was due to bleeding) and has a strange lump coming out of his head which has a white spike coming out of it, almost like a bone. I really don't have a clue wether it's a disease or an injury so I don't know what to do please help. Thanks.

Really need a photo to see exactly what you mean. It could be a tumour of some sort, but I've never come across something like you describe.
