I went to the Blue Planet Aquarium in Cheshire this Sunday just gone and took a load of pics, thought you guys might like to see them. Only 20 mins from where I live....might go get a year pass...

I took the kids a couple of weeks ago. was a bit gutted tehy got rid of the pike tank cos that was a beuty. great place though and only 10 mins from me lol

I live just outside Chester and I love the Blue Planet, its a bit expensive and the GF gets very annoyed when I spend 20minutes at one tank watching the fish.
They have a new-ish setup in the cichlid area which has made me want to keep some more cichlids, im not a massive cichlid fan but they were beautiful fish. cant think what they were called though. They are on opposite side to the malawi tank.

Is great so see some decent photos as mine always turn out crap

may be we should have a TFF day out there

lol, there was one organised maybe a year ago, only 2 people turned up

great pics though, we've been there once and really enjoyed it, hope to go up there again soon, Ian's promised me a weekend away, do chester zoo one day, get a hotel for the night go for nice dinner and stuff then go to blue planet the next day

The aquarium in the zoo is next for a refurb' thew've finish the orangutan house now. And when i asked about it they said it was next, so fingers crossed. might have to get a Saturday job there along side my real job

id turn up - i live half an hour away from the blue planet
