Blue Gourami

Can I add the Blue Gourami that I currently have in a 10 gal., to my 55 gal?(list of fish in this tank is in my sig.) It was my initial plan, when I purchased the Gourami....now I'm not sure...He seems to be a mean little thing, and I'm a little apprehensive. I put albino cories in there a few weeks ago, and had to remove them, due to the aggression of the Gourami....

it might chase the angel and ctenopoma around but the rainbows should be fine. You probably have a male gourami and they are more agro than the females. Males have a longer pointed dorsal (top) fin. Females have a shorter rounded dorsal fin.

Thanks...I just checked out "his " dorsal fin, and had a look at some pics...I guess he's a she...

You should be fine in a 55 gallon unless he is a really mean character. If he is the last one to be added, and you have enough hiding places, you have an even bigger chance that everything will work out ok.
