And for the record that is one AMAZING set-up, i can only drool over the size of your tank, the health and colouration of your fish also. Amazing!

**** I stop bugging them since it stresses them out and left them alone with the fry. The next day and attempted to feed the fry brine shrim. Success !!!!! full bellies !!!!

Well, now i can see them chronologically on one thread it really is amazing. Do you know the scientific name for this species of Angel. They are, without ANY doubt, the most superb Angel fish i have ever seen. They are simply majestic.

I don't suppose your in the UK and 'just so happen' to be selling some of these fry are you. Because i sure as hell would snap a group of 5 off your hands if possible! Infact, i'd snap both hands, arms, legs, toes...the lot off for some of these absolute stunners!

Please do share the tank statistics. As a keen tank planter also (currnetly smaller scale) i'd love to know what plants you have there. Can i see Staurogyne Repens dotted about the mid-to-forground there?

I don't have a scientific name. I'm not even sure there is one for these angelfish. The blushing blue is a ( after scanning the net) genetic defect. I'm not sure how much truth is in that but here is where I found it.

Thanks I'm glad you like them but unfortunately I live in London Ontario Canada.
As far as tank parameters,I do a 50% water change once a week, I keep the temperature at 80 degrees ( 26.6 Celsius ), and all the plants you see are low light. There is no CO2 and the lights I use are 2 54 watt T5HO ( Hagen life GLO bulbs) with really bad reflectors. Did you notice the difference in the angelfish colors between the breeding tank and the main community tank?
In the breeder tank I use 1 39 watt T5HO with ( power GLO bulb). The power Glo really brings out the blues in the breeder tank but its not as good as the LIfe GLO for plants. The plants in my tank are mostly vals and crypts.
Filter wise I use Fluval FX5 and Eheim Pro 3 ( 2075) with in a Hydor ETH 300 watt inline heater on the big tank and sponge filter and Fluval E 300 on the breeders. I will swap the sponges for aquaclears HOB once the fry are bigger.
