Would I be able to keep a Blue Acara happily with my clown loach and keyhole's?

If not, what tank mates would be suitable in a 50g tank?

EDIT: just spotted somewhere that they require a temp of 18-23C, that right? Would answer my first question for me if it was

Making the assumption that your tank is suitable for the clown loaches long term than, yes.

Also, you're more likely to come across latifrons than pulcher. And the genus is now andinoacara.

I have a female blue acara with a male keyhole. they get along great.

Aargh!

My lfs wont order one in for me unless I order 5 as he says that's the minimum group size they can live in.

I want to take that comment back. Since then my female acara turned on my male keyhole. I'm pretty sure she wanted to spawn and my keyhole wanted nothing to do with her. They had a good fight lip locked spining around nipping at eachother. I had to take her out and put her in another tank alone. They were fine for a few months. But she went crazy. but this female Blue acara is just a crazy B****.

Why cant the store order 5 of them and sell the ones you don't buy. Thats weird.

That's what I thought!

Although my instant reaction was to say that my other half should of told him I had five already but ones just died
