Blimey!

that would be soooo cool, bit like crackers big tubs, but even bigger (and nicer looking)

couldn't you move it over to a bigger tank now? put small tank into empty big tank. fill small tank just to top, fill big tank around it, just to level of small tank, and then slightly higher (only about an inch) and let babies swim out of small tank on their own. you could always lower the water level again once they were out in the main tank?

Geez Modaz-You've got more fries than a burger joint! :hyper:
I kill myself  !

Good Luck with all of your little babies :good:
What will you do with all of them?

Sounds like ibbledibble has a good idea....

the idea of ibbles is a good idea we are moving the 6ft tank over to the back of the shop so not sure about it being an outgrow and the thing afraid of is a wipe out, i wouldnt want to loose a 6ft tank full of bettas after all the hard work. by seperating them over 10 x 50L tanks it will be a more secure method i think.

WAHOOOO!!! apparently they are still ok and about 60% are free swimming, and it dont look like he has eaten any

Well done :good: When are you planning on taking him out?

im gunna start feeding the fry tomorrow as all should be free swimming by then and im gunna feed him too as he aint eaten for about 6 days now, gunna watch him all day and if i see him eating the fry i will remove him but if not he is gunna stay with them until he shows signs of eating any. i want to leave him in as long as possible

all free swimming this morning and BBS added (the first of many feedings)

Awwwwww.......look at all those little babies......you must be well chuffed.....I can see you now beaming from ear to ear :good: :good:

I would think its the safer method to speperate the tanks....that way if one tank has a disaster you still have tanks untouched.

ok ive just had to remove him due to one fat belly and less fry. he was pouching them this morning but now he's not releasing them like he did earlier so im not taking the risk.
