yeah and sods law they will all be solid blue, but nice navy HM, the male does have flicks of white to him so hoping some BF in the somewhere.

Great to hear it Daz, looks like cooler temps is the way to go for bigger broods! They are both beautifal fish so even if they are all solids they are bound to be lovely

i love the female body and colour, she was the main reason i used her due to fantastic lines and the male i choose b/c he was as soft as dates, anyway excluding the ones free swimming now which is abound 10 or so, ive counted 372 in the nest



There is no way that they are all gunna survive the tank wont hold this amount for the length of period needed before i can transfer them to a larger tank, water changes will have to be atleast 3-4 times a day and feeding ive decided will be increased to 4 times a day, hmmmm , i think i may go back to my old way

its not the case of the outgrow as ive got plenty of tanks available to house them its just the first 6 weeks or so that im thinking about as these are in a 10" x 8" x 8", never expected so many as past spawns were sometimes single figures.

ive got a 6ft tank that i suppose i could gut and set back up as an outgrow
