Black Sand In New Tank?

I didt even use 30KG to cover my rio 350L

That is the tank I plan on getting.

How deep did you lay the sand? Just wondering coz mine will be planted.

Hi Tom,

i just bought some limpopo sand for my new tank, still waiting for it to arrive. Aquaessentials do it in bags of 12.5kgs and 2.5kg, if you are trying to get to a set target weight.

I didn't realise about this vinegar fizzing, im trying to keep my ph neutral, would the effects of the sand wear off over time?? now im worried!
