i have a few questions about them first these guys are fun to watch. anyways the questions
when treating the tank for internal parsites i know the carbon in the filter should be removed but should the snails be as well? i ask because shortly after using the tropical fish fungal thing for internal parsites all three snails in the tank (two black mysties and one rd rynhorn) jetted to the top of the tank, i figured they were not fond of the medication and evacuated them to other tanks (one snail immedently got together with another snail (man i wish my life was that easy) should i keep them out until i am done treating the tank?

also do mysteries breed as easily as ther smaller snail cousins? or do they need conditioning.

anything is there anything else i should know about this little guys other then they love alge waffers i figured that part out, and that for a snail those little guys cruise aund the tank pretty quickly

What med are you ususing for internal parasites? What parasite are you trying to treat? The best med you can get is Metro. You can order it online. Is like 5 dollars a caontainer. You miz it with their food and feed it 10 days in a row. You will also want to put coppersafe in the tank to kill parasite eggs. But, the copper will kill the snails. Most meds say on the back whats its safe with.

Apple/mystery snails will breed easily, but not without some conditions. They have distinct sexes, so it takes a pair to breed. They leave the water and lay their eggs on surfaces just out of the water. They're pretty distinctive to find and remove if you want to make sure they don't hatch. Mine have never hatched, I've left a couple globs of them to see how they'd do. I'm not sure if they got too wet or not wet enough or what.

i am useing jungle fungus, its what my lfs had. so i mix it with the fish flakes i can do that.
i will remove the snails for a little while.

i am not sure what parsite i am treating, all i know is i lost two mollies, both got supper thin then passed away. i am trying to prevent the rest of the tank from suffering the same fait. the remaining fish are one ballon molly three guppies and 6 pepper cories. i don't want to loose any more fish to this thing.

i will try the copersafe i just need something thats broad and prevents the others for getting sick.

as for the snails they seem to be happy in there temporay tanks, bettas arn't happy but the snails are.

Okay, fungus medicine is for fungus, not parasites. I just got rid of calamanus worm, from my angel, who had it for a month. I used metro, which is the only med i can almost garuntee to work. It takes 7 to 10 days. You will need to order it online.
