with tiger barbs yes no ? and what are they like as a commuity fish ? :good:
 
my only concern would be them attacking the tail tip of the black ghost. It once happened to an african knife I had and it was very sore and once they nipped they wouldn;t leave alone

exactly, and also, how about the other tank mates? and aquarium size? and also i told you about how the tigers would nip away at yuor gourami. :no: :no:
 
No to the tiger barbs.

BGK can be kept in communities, but you have to realise most specimens kept in community tanks die prematurely. BGKs need not-too-warm, fast-flowing, oxygen-rich and very clean water. That's not what you find in most community tanks. But if you are providing those conditions, then tankmates that won't compete for food or living space may be appropriate: bristlenose catfish, surface-swimming danios, etc.

agreed. ive had tiger barbs and let me tell oyu, those knife fish wont stand a chance....untill he gets bigger that is.
