Ok,
my synspilum pair are no longer as "he" killed "her" so i wana try get him some tank mates as i had to take my pair of red devils out and put them in there own tank along with all 700ish of there now new kidys, (4days old now)

I was looking at JD's and an oscar but have seen some black belts and they look realy nice but can they go in with synspilum 1 male at mo but trying to source a female or 2 and severum's (sev's are in another tank at moment) a girrafe cat, large plec, another lovely lookin thing that is growing rapidly ("other" kind of devil i was told) a synspilum baby that was from the pair but growing nicely, oah and there are a few small convicts in there that have appeared from know where :S
Any ideas would be greatly noted.

Thanks guys and gals.

Blackbelts are just trouble in my experience.

I also dont think your synspilum would take to him / her either since they look very similar.
