Bizzare behavior

My female discus (3 years old) recently began focusing on a spot on the substrate as if hypnotized like a chicken. She does this throughout the day at different locations in the aquarium. She will hover near the surface of the substrate, face pointing downward, sometimes for as long as 10 minutes. Her behavior between episodes is perfectly normal, foraging or flirting with her mate.

If your discus is foraging food when feeding them and trying to pick the food particles on the surface of the substrate it's normal.
If its happening randomly thats not normal as discus recognise their owners and always stay calm until feeding time.
Its better to turn on the heater abit higher if they are not sick or having worms or internal parasites.
