Biten By 2 Of My Females!

My heater broke the other day and had to use a smaller one till my new heater arrived well yesterday it arrived i could not wait to get home to put the new one in while fitting the new one to the tank i get a quick sharp pintch as i look down there they are 2 off them had bit me i have never moved so fast in my life they scared the life out of me am in shock could not belive it i almost drop the heater compeletly into the water and everytime i went to line it up they come back for more lol xxx

I've been bitten too. I got bitten by a male but in fairness I was teasing him at the time so I deserved it.

I've been bitten by the girls too - they used to pick at my bracelet as well.

They certainly hurt given their size don't they

ouch!! I've never been bitten by a fish. I've read a couple of people saying that their bettas have bitten them and that it really hurt. Don't think I'll be putting my hands in their tanks any more than I have to!!! Hope you're over the shock Sam xxx

they are curious things lol. Mine is always round my hands looking at what I'm doing whenever I have to mess about in the tank. I stroke her on her back. So far she hasn't bitten me.

Lol since I put my fingers in the tank to feed my fish bite me all the time the only ones that still catch me by surprise are my King Bettas Tweetle De and Jin because they can get a good hold of my finger but still like feeding by hand so they don't stress out when I am working on their tanks

They now have a test for flesh im sure of it lol my mollys and platys always nibble my finger and always have. But they betta's seem to be turning quite funny i go near the tank and they start flaping around like mad i have to put my new external filter in tonight as it arrived this morning so we will see what the out come is of that lol. wish me luck xx
