Bird Leg Rings

hi, does anyone know where i can get fixed Stainless steel leg rings for aviary birds? (more specifically Kakarikis,)
I've been looking around for a while now and can't find them in the UK and I have 3 eggs which should be hatching in around 7 days so I could do with getting them ASAP

dave the rings you mean will identify you as the breeder so you need a club to send you some though they will only post around 50 mininmum if I remember, why do you want to ring them anyway
check out cage and aviary birds magazine you will get rings in there

I thought all captive bred birds were required to be ringed Scot? My Dad used to breed budgies and canaries and one of the requirements of the places he sold them to was that they were ringed. I wasn't planning to ring them myself but this made me think i should

Hi you dont need or have to ring your birds as far as i am aware unless they are british or rare and then it is to prove they have been bred in captivity I used to ring my budgies with the plastic ones but this was so i could identify them easily when in the aviary
