Hi all, I am about to start up another tank in the next few days (hopefully tomorrow evening) and my dads just allowed me to dump my eheim bioballs into his tank which is fully established. I was origonally going to move over the fish and a fully established filter from a tank which is outgrown, however i now have finrot on two of the fish and therefore will be using the old tank as a hospital tank. My question is:
how long on average would it take for the bioballs to get sufficient bacteria on them so i can set up my tank.
