no idea where you can buy, but its pretty much the only bacteria product that anyone seems to think is any good as long as its been kept refrigerated! (the one I bought was crap)

if you know anyone who can donate some of their filter media/substrate to you that will speed things up, or look at the sticky in the New to the hobby section - there's a list of people willing to donate/swap media!
