I currently have four lovely girlie bettas all are different and all have different temperments i also have two male bettas a PK and a VT. :hyper:
I have set up there breeding tank and have everything prepared ready for my first attempt at spawning them but i have come onto a new dilemma.
I have had the boys longer than the girls and they are fed twice a day on hikari betta bites and during the week they get some bloodworm or mosquito larva (when available) but the girls are still bigger with the main girl i want to breed with being much much bigger than both boys .
The other girls are still stunning with one i believe to have some CT in her but she is the same size as my PK the smallest is my VT but have had him since october last year and he eats anything put in front of him (even my finger :shout: ).
Does anyone have any ideas as what i could do, is it worth the risk to put a larger female in with a smaller mal has anyone done this before if so what happened ?.
Cheers in advance for any help given.

:hyper: never tried breeding them. I love girlies only got one at the moment. I am sure someone will be along to help you. Keep us posted as to how you get on. :good:

The only major issue you have is , is your boy too small to wrap the girl properly, if she is too large he may not be able to squeeze out her eggs. If she is a placid girl and he's well behaved you could try it (after proper conditioning etc) but you would have to be prepared for the face he may not be able to provide enough pressure or enough tail wrap to mate successfully
