he'd just eaten so thats why hes a little fat

and i dont overfeed if thats what ur gettin at

I intend on keeping him with them for a while yes, bcoz untill they all start going homocidal on each other then thats where they will stay

Ive had people tell me i cant keep this with that etc etc, and some of the time the fish have got on fine

so again thats where he will stay untill and if they start not tolerating each other

I know you've heard it before but please keep an eye out for aggression. I work at an lfs and have heard many stories from people keeping a male and females together. Some have had success for months, only to look in the tank one morning and find a shredded/dead Betta.
