Fish Herder
Well, I need to start moving some bettas out since I'm transferring to a new college where I'll be living on campus (rather than commuting like I've been doing for the past two years) and can't take them all with me. There are only a few right now but I may be adding to the list.
First, is a red HM BF cambo-based red. The red on his body did marble in when he was younger. I'm pretty sure he chomped his tail cuz... it looks nothing like this anymore.
There is regrowth, though, and he can definitely still be bred. He's young and the line he's from (Ruthcatrin's red marbles for those who know her) is just awesome. I really hate to give him up, cuz hes cute as anything... and if no one wants him I'd be more than happy to have the excuse to keep him.
But it seems I have the worst luck with HM fins, so I'm just gonna breed his sister with a HMPK eventually, I think. This is what he looked like in all his glory... I can get an updated pic if anyone is interested.
This next girl is a solid blue HM from Thailand. She is GORGEOUS. She's in my sorority right now and I don't have to find a home for her, but will give her to someone if they want to breed her since I won't be... and I think such a pretty girl should be bred. She has some wear and tear from being in the sorority and wanting to be boss, but she is still lovely.

This next boy is a green marble traditional plakat. Those who know me know I LOVE green marble plakats the best, they are my favorite... but it was between giving this guy and the next guy up... or giving up my two VT boys. And I wouldn't give up my neurotic tail-biting VTs up for anything. I tried breeding this guy and I *think* he killed his sister. I came home and found her wedged between the tank and the sponge filter, dead. She MAY have gotten herself stuck in there, but I still think he killed her. He was also very aggressive to the CT girl I tried breeding to him. I'm almost 100% sure he could be bred if you go about it the right way and perhaps use a couple "tricks" to tone down the aggression. He's so gorgeous and cute, I really want to see this guy bred. I wish I had the time to keep trying myself...
This lil guy was bred by me. He's an opaque traditional plakat with some copper and green iridescence. His parents were opaque plakats from luvmybetta but some of his siblings were long-finned... which was weird. He does have some light gray imperfection coming in on his fins, but not a hint of red. He has developed a lot more since these pics were taken, and his tail is either at 180 degrees or VERY close... but I think he's at 180... and still has more growing to do anyway. Again, I can get updated pics for those who want them.
These guys are all free. All I ask is for the first choice of their babies (after you, of course) if you breed them. Express shipping, $25.
