Hello Everyone - again.

So I've had my betta for a couple of days now. I overfed him the first 3 days I had him and became constipated / fat.
I tried feeding him a pea - but that obviously failed. I tried giving him only that, still failed.
I fasted him for 2 days (friday to saturday), and he lost his fat little belly, but now, he won't eat at all :S
Is he not hungry?

assuming you are doing massive daily water changes and/or he isnt sick, bettas are fish with alot of personality, they need time to settle, mine took several days in a well estabished tank to come out of hiding, yours is on his own and in a tank that has to have water changes every day, once he is moved to your other tank and things have settled, you might find he comes into his own, did you manage to get a test kit?

I did buy a test strips! After a long debate I finally got some. There is some signs of Ammonia in the little fish tank he is currently - the "safe zone" is supposed to be at bright yellow, but it's at the level under it. I'm scared about this though - he began developing little red things at the tips of his fins. What should I do? Other than the water changes?

Also just to add - he began swimming a lot today which I think is a good sign - however he still isn't eating :(

test strips are unreliable and do not give correct readings, have you tested for nitrite?

I did just now, it's and it's at 0.5 :S

Sorry let me correct that:

Nitrate: 1

Nitrite: 0.15
