Betta Wipe Out (need To Know What The Disease Is)

I really want to statr a fresh on the tank but the only prob i got is there is 3 bristlenose plecs in there and i concerened about moving them that the disease will pass to another tank..

Do the plecs have columnaris.
Columnaris lives in the background in your tanks, it only takes bad water quality, stress, temp being unstable and over crowding.

Keep doing water changes and adding the correct amount of med back to the water removed.

Oh gosh.. so sorry your bettas have died!
It looks like columnaris to me.
I would get some maracyn 1 & 2 if any other bettas are showing it. Not sure what the UK equivalent for the meds would be?


Is the betta in that vid the one you just spawned?

thats is the male who just spawned

both parents lost , its so sad

but knowing wayne he will get on top of it

The plecs and 2 croys (forgot to mention them lol) are absoloutly fine at the moment, it was just the bettas that died.

yeah the fry are doing fine the spawning tank, there getting huge
