I've been feeding my M & F PKs up for it anyway hehe.
I just hope he isn't too old he's probs over a year old now....

P.S The power filter isn't been used hehe it's built into the tank I am using a air powerd filter

as regards plants for breeding tanks. At the minute I am using a simple small pista stratiotes (water lettuce) and the fry love it. They nibble on the roots for food.

They are very easy to grow and they are ammonia and nitrate vacuums!!!!

I also use a simple algard sponge filter powered by an airpump. It really works well too.

As for other live plants.. stick with the simple low light ones like java fern, java moss, and elodea densa. They are all easy to grow in low light and help with the water quality too.
