Hi all!
Since my 64L tank is healthy and looking a bit bare, I thought I should try and decide on a future stocking, but I'm not sure which to go with!
Do you think I should have a female betta sorority with around 8 girls, or should I have a group of sparkling gourami and a shoal of chilli rasbora!?

What do you guys think? :D

Yeah, that's why I'd get in quite a few girls! I'd be able to get some lovely colours then, too! :)

I thought you lot might say that!!
I suppose this way I can get all sorts of different colours, might even be able to do some breeding in the future :D

I'm afraid Bettas and Gouramis don't get on very well! I probably would if I could though!

Depends on personal preference. Female bettas are bigger, mor colorful, but nippy. Sparkling gouramis are small, dull in color unless the light reflects off of them at the right angle, making them sparkle blue, they croak and chirp, and may nip if the tank doesn't have enough hiding places to make territories. Plus they are a pain in the butt to sex :look: It all comes down to you :good:

I saw crossfire made a post and instantly thought i bet shes suggesting khulis but i was wrong 8( lol but bettas all they way :)

Ahh, I see. Thank you!
I think I'll go with some little female fighters. Might even allow for some breeding with one of my boys later on! :D

i wish more than 1 male in a tank was possible :( but the betta sorority sounds neat....you could even put greek lettering for there sorority name on the tank haha

but if males wouldn't attack each other then they would just be called a Siamese fish and part of their whole charm and charisma would be gone!
