So I saw another topic about good stores in a certain area so I was wondering, are there any trusted good sites with a  good reputation for buying Bettas? And do any of you know any HMPK breeders in or near Rhode Island in the US? Thanks everybody much appreciated!

I have been looking for the same thing! Aquabid is all I can find and ebay has some. I will keep looking.

Me too! I'm kinda nervous when it comes to fish and ebay though, don't know why. Thanks for the reply!

Main thing with purchasing anything that breathes is start a conversation with the supplier, you will soon know if you wish to buy from them :)

You seen this, about the location field?

Love the fish in your Avatar, is it yours?

Not sure about breeders in that particular area but there are lots of US breeders with nice fish.   Blackwater betta has some wonderful fish.  She is a member of the IBC and is running for president at the moment.  She sells on EBAY and Aquabid both.  Here is her facebook page:   https://www.facebook.com/BlackWaterBetta?fref=ts

Thank you soooo much for the tips and the location field thing. Btw I love the fish in my avatar too, I was bidding on him on Aquabid but in the last 20 minutes or so I got sniped while I was at school and missed a gorgeous betta :/

Thank you so very much Betta, you've been so helpful with almost all my questions. I really can't thank you enough lol.
