Betta Not Eating Normally?

Frozen was even better but unless you have another tank to feed it's a bit pointless defrosting cubes of it for a few worms.

You can cut a frozen cube to get a little off for him though. Then day after you've feed him some bloodworm you starve him

Didn't feed him last night or this morning. Just gave him a couple of grains of some other fish food I've had lying around (originally for neon tetras), and he gobbled it all up. I have noticed today that he doesn't seem as active as normal, think it's relavant?

Have you done a waterchange recently? I remember you said you did them fortnightly. Might perk him up a bit. In what way us he inactive? Sitting in the bottom?

I did a waterchange a few days ago, and hope to do one again within the next few days He's resting on the bottom a little more and doesn't seem to be swimming around as actively as usual.

About 26 ish at the moment according to my thermometer. It's always been about this, though. The thing is, is that my heater can be tricky to adjust to an exact temperature without it going one way or the other, so I've sort of left it and settled for this, atm.

Do you think this would be too small for him? It's 14l, or 3.7 US gallons. I'm thinking it might be, but had might as well ask around. I really wanted something around the 20L mark or just above, but my tank finding skills aren't proving to be very good. I would have no where near that amount of sand, but may try something similar with the java fern
