Betta likes the heater.

My Betta seems to engoy sitting in between the suction cups for the heater. Is this because the water is too cold. Teh temp went a bit awry yesterday and got down to 22 degrees instead of 24 but its back up again. is 24 degrees to cool or is my betta just a contortionist??

For some reason, many of my fish seem to prefer to stay behind the back of my filter. Don't know why!

As long as there's enough room for her to get in and out comfortabley, she should be ok. Maybe there aren't enough hidey places for her in the tank. Most fish like their own little place where they can rest and hide from the rest of the tankmates when things get a little too much for them.

That's a point, its anew tank and I haven't put any places for him to curl up into yet. He must just want somewhere to hide. He's amazing at fitting in small places though

They sure are! My Ruby squeezes into the cory caves, which are very low, and stays squished in the middle of all the corys!
