Betta Just Came In The Mail

I just got my Betta in the mail . He is not the same color as the pics but is still very nice. He has a lot of energy and is trying to eat stuff in the gravel. How long should I wait to feed him? and How long should I wait to put more silk plants in the tank? Thanks.

Thats great news!

Try feeding him in a few hours or tomoro morning, sometimes they sulk for a while and don't eat but that is common.

Add the silk plants on your next water change or if you don't feel he has enough hiding places then add them in as soon as you like.

Oh and don't forget to post us some pics!!!!!

Thanks, he seems very happy and has already explored the tank a few times. He has a lot of plants but two are plastic so I want to replace them with silk ones. I planed on doing that today when I moved his tank to my desk but I did not get to it.

You will be fine to change them whenever really i'd do it asap to get the plastic ones out of there
