My Betta hasn't seemed very active for the past two days. He's just staying near the bottom and seems to be breathing hard. He looks pale. The tank he is in right now is fully cycled with no traces of ammonia or nitrite. I have a spare 1 gallon bowl I could keep him in, should I move him into that? Any recommended meds? I have Melafix and Aquarium salt on hand right now...

Check the perams again just in case, check if the filter flow bothers him, and if you can't figure out what's wrong put a little salt in.
BettaMax is a recomended med on here for general betta illness i believe.

Maybe he's just a wee bit tierd, though i hope he will become more active.

The problem with the salt is he lives with dwarf cories, I'd have to but him in his own bowl to treat him with salt.

OK, well do the salt in the seperate container, just do partial water changes every other day because it is not filtered and salt makes the amonia go slightly up.
