Don't know if anyone read my betta emergancy last time i performed a water change...
Another one, left the siphon going while i got my water bucket, 5 seconds tops, came back betta inside the siphon....
Sat on the bottom gasping...
Fingers crossed or is there anything you'd reccomend feeding, adding, doing to calm her own.
No physical damage at least.

if anything happens to my lot i just leave them be til they seem a bit braver then i offer them some food. If it's the same girlie she's a bit accident prone!

Hows she looking now?

Fine now, bit pale, can see her stripes.
Siphoned the new tank water back in after she started moving again....
No gasping anymore, think she's a bit thick.
Wonder why all my fish seem to have issues?
Anyway went to do my second 20% ( i have to do 40%+ because theres a flying fox i'm trying to get rid of in with her) and there she was again happily swimming around under my siphon

I have a couple that likes to poke around when I am doing water changes, I got some window screen and a zip tie, put. I put that over the end and now no more bettas trying to escape through the siphon tube. It also helps keeps me from sucking up the live plants. You could probably do the same thing with a piece of one of those onion mesh bags.

Cheers Joy and Alessa :good:
Heres the dopey lady herself; Dorian the Siphon Diver

Tanks not looking too good at the mo, using it as a growth tank for cuttings plus it takes a fair amount of sunlight hence algae, c'est la vie, she's well looked after...
Any opinions on the layout? Apart from ugly as sin...
:p
