Betta Fuzzy Fins

salt as in aquarium salt or table salt sorry for my ignorance, but i would like to get it right.

i will look to see if the pet store has coppersafe and an airstone, how much percentage of a water change should i do? as well, do you think it would be better just to put him in a bowl a regular fish bowl and treat him there? rather than his ten gallon? i am going to be completely disinfecting the tank when he gets better, but if i move him into a bowl i will do the tank right then.

so with the coppersafe, is it okay to completely right away stop the maracide and start right away with the coppersafe? or give it a day? and while treating with the coppersafe, do i stop treating with the maracyn?

Aquarium salt, but you can use table salt, but you might as well use the aquarium salt with having it in stock, yes move him to his bowl and treat in there, Just change his bowl water and add the other med, as for the maracyn go in with half the dose with the other parasite med, just to make sure he will be ok, what is his gill like is he laboured breathing.

Same as tank tempreture, hoping the salt bath will get rid of some of the parasites.

Well, my fish is still alive :D still eating, and swimming around lively. I think i got rid of the fungus (knock on wood) with the aquarium salt and the Melafix. Now, he still has some goldish to him, so should i put in the coppersafe?

Because of how he reacted the last time i am very afraid to. Should i try just a bit of it and see?

Good news so far, i would try even less than half dose to see how he goes, you can always add some more in a day or two while he gets used to it. good luck.
