Betta Fish Be okay w/o food for 8 days???

Im going on break for 10 days (friday i fed him) and left that same day and returning sunday (i will feed him then) so only techinally 8 days. Will he be ok in a 5 gallon heated tank w automatic light timer. The tank is full of live plants and he is healthy when I left. If not, (worst case), I could drive up to feed him.

He'll be fine. Many of us have left our fish for 2 weeks or more without issue.

No betta feeding for just over a week won't hurt them by any means... So, yours will be okay.
