Hey guys. So I have had my betta for a few months now and he's a great fish. I absolutely love him. Recently I have noticed that his fins have been ripping. Now he did have some very abrasive plastic plants in there so I removed those. I'm pretty sure that's what was causing the ripping. In the next few days I plan to empty the tank, put baked dirt in the bottom, put in the gravel again, and add some elodea anacharis. What should I do to speed up the healing process? I'll include some pictures of his fins for you. Thanks.

Lots of clean treated warm water is all you need.

Your fish looks a bit skinny to me what and how much are you feeding him.

I give him about four Aqueon Betta Food pellets a day and one or two pre-soaked blood worms.

Personally I rate Aqueon Betta Pellets about the same as Hikari pellets, I wouldn't feed them to my fish.

Good quality pellets.
Atisons Betta Pro and Atisons Betta food
New Life spectrum
Omega one.

My Betta gets 4 pellets that size 2 times a day.

Good quality food and water conditions help lots.
