I found my female betta sinking to the bottom and looking very lethargic this morning with a bit of java moss sticking out of her mouth. I pulled it out and it was about a centimeter long! Sheās completely back to normal now so Iām fairly sure the java moss was the issue but I donāt know why she ate it in the first place. I didnāt feed her yesterday but iāve been feeding her regularly otherwise. Why would she eat the java moss? (Edit: I didnāt take a photo of her with the moss in her mouth because i was too busy trying to help her)
