Betta Breeding

I have a friend who wants to breed betas. I have never done it before, so can someone post a guide on how to do it?? My friend has never bred bettas before, so go easy on the "You'll know it when you see it"s.

A google search can bring up some really good websites regarding breeding and conditioning the fish. Its a lengthy process that can result in the death of your loved fish if not done properly so it isnt something to be taken lightly. They can have a few hundred babies per spawn and you will eventually need to seperate them all out in to their own tanks. Its a full time job once the male has to be removed from the babies tank so you need a lot of spare time
