My betta has eaten bloodworms for 2 days and he is ignoring the pellets these few days and i have to no choice but feed him daphnia....What can i do to make him eat them?

sorry mate. I have the exact oppisite problem.

My buddy won't eat bloodworms, pokes at betta pellets, and only chews on flakes....

Weird one, my midnight is!

for the moment he's alone.

today the media went back into the 10, finishing the 38's cycle from the set back, and now the 10 will beging to reclone

In a week or 2, a candy stripe pleco will be sure to join him, and maybe an african butterfly fish if he doesn't start eating.

why the single glow lite?

*darkened room and a shadowy figure comes forward, speaking*

There once was a little boy three years ago who wanted fish. just like any uncaring teenage boy, he overstocked a 5 gallon with danios and glowlites. he then left over fall break. all the fish died. Or so he was told. so he let it sit for three weeks without looking. Then, before discarding the tank, he found a single glowlite tetra, still alive, stuck in the net. Astounding. So for two years, that glowlite lived pathetically in a bug carrier.

It then was moved to a 10 gallon, when the boy had the random urge to get back into fish keeping. this boy then got cardinals and neons, many of which died. he then came to TFF, learning about cycling, and let the cycle finish. He then made more mistakes. and then, when transfering fish to the 38 gallon, made even more, as the temp of 4 degree difference killed all but two glowlites off. One of them, the large 2 1/2 year old. It then lived through an albino senegal being in the same 10 gallon, and then lived in the 38 with it for well over a month and a half.

now, it has peace, living there.

Wait a sec, was the much like an irresponsible teenager thing directed at me? I wasn't even a teenager until last Wednesday. I have to say I'm a lot more responsible than that!

Hmmm, you could try just feeding him the pellets and nothing else, eventually he'll get hungry enough and will eat them, I'm not saying starve him, if after a while hes still not eating them, then I'm not sure what to tell you. But I do know that a betta can go like 2 weeks without eating and be perfectly fine, so I guess its worth a try :D

I highly doubt it was directed at you

it was directed at me actually.

That's the story of what happened to him. Me being the teenager.
