I have been wanting to get my betta into a larger tank for a while now, but the only way I can think to do it is by putting him in my ten gallon. Unfortunately, my ten gallon is playing host to one molly and eight cherry barbs (the barbs are getting introduced into their tank starting tomorrow). Once they are all moved over, I'll still have this female Dalmatian molly in the tank, and I would much prefer King to have it. He's rather aggressive and she's a fin-nipper, so they couldn't even be in the same water for a minute.

What's the best way to rehome the molly? Should I take her to my LFS? It's been a few months since I purchased her. She's healthy, but I just don't want her anymore if it means keeping my betta in his cramped container.

I found advertizing them on forums like this one (in classifieds section) to be quite good. I'd rather give fish to other fish keepers than back to most LFS.

I always forget about that. I just made a post there, but I'm not anticipating many results, as I do live in a very small community in very southern America, where most fish are supposed to be caught and devoured.
