Best Way Of Running 2 Filters With Juwel Tank

Hi there,

I have 2 Tetratec EX1200 filters on the way and i'm considering how i'm going to hook them up to the tank. I dont want to go cutting the lids ideally so I want to use the standard juwel hole (i'm removing the standard internal one). Would you join the output from the 2 filters into one?

I manages to run an aquapro for and a sunsun (which is similar to the tetratec) on a rio 300, it was a bit of juggling with the pipework to get them to sit in the caps at the back, just ended up with the lid very slightly lifted at the back

Just use the indents at the back of the tank (already pre-cut on Juwel tanks), the TT piping just fits, so one filter each end of the tank, the lid should shut no problems, least it did on my tanks when I had TT running.

yes that sounds like a good idea - how does the outlet attach to the tank though as I have textured background that suckers dont stick to?

Ah well I dont know about that, as I just stuck mine to the back with the suckers.
