Best Water Test Kit

evan tho ive had a tank for 18 months ive never used a test kit (everything has always been fine) now im starting a new tank i think its right i should get a kit. Which would you recomend.

depends how accurate you want things; i just use a strip test, by tetratec

API liquid tests are highly recommended on here, i use them and cant find a fault

if you want accuracy go with saliferts, theyre more accurate than API as i have proven with laboratory tests.
and they can be bought cheaper than API

A search in this forum in just the last 30 days should bring up numerous threads where we've had extensive discussions about this. I agree that Saliferts have not received dispute as being perhaps even the best 2 or 3 top kits (Saliferts, Eos?, LaMotte?) I'm an API user myself, without complaint.
