I know this is short notice but i,m off to L F store in about an hour to buy my own test kit.
Which is the best?
local store uses little bottles

However, the Nutrafin Mini Master Test Kit will also do the job just as well.

Yes, agree with the above. The most popular one here, the API Freshwater Master Test Kit seems to have a slight edge over the Nutrafin Mini-Master Test Kit because numerous beginners report the switchover of shades from green to yellow at zero for the ammonia test is easier to judge than the nutrafin shades. The Nutrafin though is reported to be just as good for the nitrite test. Overall though, the most important thing is to be using these somewhat higher quality liquid-reagent based tests rather than paper strips.
