My Amazon Sword Plant and others are being eaten by Ramshorn snails. I have a Clown and a large Queen Botia and neither has any interest in eating those snails. Unbelievable but true. I'm going to try handpicking the snails for now.

I agree with @utahfish, I have Ramshorn snails too and have not seen them go after plants.Ramshorns dont eat plants, ive had multiple tanks with rams and plants and my plants are fine. If your plants are showing signs of wear and tear the culprit is most likely lack of nutrients. The two nutrients most likely to be low in plants are potassium and Iron. As for loaches, Clown Loaches do well at eating snails but require being in groups and get really large and a group of them need around 100 gallons, so unless you have 100+ gallon tank id suggest limiting snails by decreasing feeding, and if plants are looking tore up find out what nutrient they are low on.Unless you have mystery, apple snails because theyll eat plants
