Best Pair Of Rams

Hello again. Tomorrow I am hopefully goin to get a pair of blue rams and was wonderin what would be the best pair to get?
1 male + female, 2 males or 2 females?
I was thinkin a male and female, not that I plan on breeding them or anythin, just not to sure.
Bit of a daft question maybe but I'd rather this than doing the wrong thing

The size of your tank will determine if you can have 2 pairs mate.

oops, its only 1 pair i'm after... and its 4ft, 1ft deep and 18inch tall bowed front

Yeah i have considered them for a while, but still prefer Bolivians i think...

Aye the bolivians are awesome too but there's somethin about the blue 1's I just love, but come tomorrow, once im there with all that choice in front of me, I'l prob come home with somethin TOTALLY different to what i went for..... like a parrot

I went to get Agassizi's (spelling?) yesterday and came home with 2 bolivian rams. Beautiful fish. I don't know if I have 2 males or a male and female though. One definately looks like a male and the other looks like a younger male or a female from what I can tell. At the moment they seem quite shy. It you get your blues post us a pic!

I ended up gettin more discus instead ooops

But i'll be goin up again next week for some rams, and this time i'll only take enough for the rams, so that i actually GET them this time
