Best Lighting

Just wondered what's every ones opinion on the best lighting to bring out the best colour in the fish? im running a aqua tank so i think they are pl-11w "tropical" ive seen some advertised as marine blue blue ice white etc, any ideas whats best?

In all honesty I have to say that my Arcadia Eco-LED lights give better colouration than any T8 & T5 bulbs I have tried but bright white normally gives the best colouration with a dark blue/black background. Also two accent light with one tropical and one blue seems to work well as they keep the colours warm and give nice shadows so if you can get 2 bright white, 1 tropical and 1 blue.

This is based on brightly coloured fish such as adult rainbows and Betta Splenden's which suit accented lighting. If you have dark fish such as Starlight Pleco's then you could do without the tropical light and another blue or white light instead.
