I have a 37 saltwater gallon, with about 20 lbs of live rock and:

2 clowns(m/f)
1 damsel
1 feather duster worm
small goniporia coral

What are my best possibilities or recommendations to add to the tank, be it fish or inverts?

Heres some pics from my tank

2nd, defo more LR required

Another 10kg

Ok cool. would more live rock with coral be cool, or just regular live rock?
also whats some good fish/inverts for a tank my size? im goin for a reef tank, so obviously reef safe animals

Add just plain regular live rock. Im afraid your tank looks very tall, so your limited to lower light requiring corals like mushrooms and zoanthids unless you decide to update your lighting.

I cant see any "goniopora" type corals in your tank. If you do have one, goniopora dont do well, and have a real poor record in captivity. Try not to buy anymore.

As for what I can see, the green looking rock has what looks to me on it, Zenia. It doesnt look like its handling your tank all too well. Looks like a shroom in the middle as well. Try increasing flow over the tank to encourage the zenia to come out if you can.

As for live stock, your damsel might limit what you have. Try a small 6 line wrasse, he/she might be boistrous enough to avoid the damsel. If you want a few more slower/peaceful fish, id suggest removing the damsel unless your attached to the little guy! They can be real horrors.

Yeah shame about the damsel, they seem like such adventurous fish with lots of color just nasty lil buggers :S

Agreed, I'd get some more LR and ditch the damsel. Then, I'd like to warn you about Gonioporas. Their captivity success rate is EXTREMELY low for wild-caught specemins. For reasons people cant explain, they tend to look fine for a coupel months then die. A rare few wild-caught specemins will succeed in captivity, and those individuals will tend to live for years in your tank, or anyone else's. I hope yours sticks around for the long haul, but its a tough road to climb.

Ok so more live rock for sure, and after hearing from diff. people im thinkin its not a goniporia anyway, heres some better pics maybe someone can identify it. thx for the help

heh, replied in your other thread too. But those are star polyps. Very hardy little buggers and pretty tolerant of any light/flow situation.
