Hi guys. :)

Ok, just a thought....

Out of all the fish you've ever owned, which has given you the most viewing pleasure, had the most character, etc...?

For me, I would have to say my pair of Convict Chichlids which I once owned. Ok, these fish are pretty common, but there behaviour is great to watch. Always working/digging and moving things about..and watching them usher there fry around the tank is great, imo. I also like there aggression and territorial behaviour...I've heard of them dominating fish like Oscars, etc..

Be good to hear everybodys favourite fish :D

Pretty much all medium/large cichlids have great characters, My current Severum and Nicaragua Cichlid and my old Blue Acara and Convict are prime examples of fish with great characters. I also have a pair of Keyholes and a newly pairing of kribensis which are also very fun to watch

I also really like Giant Gouramis although they're a tad big for a 4footer.

oscars and green spotted puffers

3 green spotted puffers would look great in a 4 ft tank. especialy with sand and such

my betta, so full of chararter its there little wiggle dance they do for food
also one of my platies he tries to follow me everywhere and he will 'sit' in my hand if its in the tank

i have to say again that i love all cichlids, esp south/central americans,,,,,,,,

but as you have said one then i would have to go with my oscars, there so full of caracter i love em,,,,always there waggling there butts when i walk in the room, always swimming frantacly when i hold there blue pot in my hand with there food in it,,,,they know which ones the food,,for example if i hold a yellow/green or whatever they dont do anything, out comes the blue and they go crazy

but i also love my jag cichlid hes evil which is funny at water change time, has an amazing pattern and colouration aswell a real stunner in my eyes... :fun:
hes so magestic

I love watching my bronze cories and angel fish. I also like watching my turtles also.

my Clown Knife when its in full flight around the tank. an awesome and majestic loking fish

I'm enjoying watching my six bar Distochidus at the moment as well hes so cute although won't be for long

My two keyhole cichlids. They change colors when they interact with each other or other fish, picking up extra strips or bars. Right around feeding time they really put on a show.
