I dunno what's going on!

The rules in my tank have switched and the one that was the boss first is now the one being forced to commit fishacide by the one it used to chase! He's being tortured and chased and made to hang upside down in the corner! ####... It makes me sad!

Big Black is now the tortured...Silver is now the boss and is MAKING Big Black miserable! Everytime Big Black comes out he's chased and attacked back to the corner!

Any ideas of what might be going on? Will this be like this forever? My tank is a 10 gallon tank (yes, I know it's too small for 3 Angels I plan on getting another one when I have money)

He looks miserable. He does eat...and Swims when he can but once Silver notices he's chased back to the corner. I feel so bad for him! I don't know what to do... :(

you do know what to do, you have already said it.
get a bigger tank ASAP

Is there any mating between the 2 that are OK? Big Black could be the threatening them so Silver chases him. I've got 7 angels in my tank and the older 3 have a rather open relationship with the male switching between the 2 females as they spawn. As soon as the new female spawns the male will chase the old female until the eggs are gone. Their in a community tank so no chance of the eggs getting to fry.

Listen to the Wolf, get a bigger tnak ASAP! You could probably get away with a 20g high, but preferably a 30g. If Big Black used to eb the tough one, and isnt now, are your other pair sharing a territory? If theya re, then they are probably mating.,

quoted because it is easier then typing it again myself :)

Tank is way to small for angles, especially 3 of them.

Thanks everyone! I thought so...but wasn't 100% sure.

You know come to think of it the 2 silvers get along pretty well. They have little chasing things but they share the tank/space good. I don't know their sexes so I don't know if their mating or not...what would be some key signs?

I have a question in regards to my Angel Fish and a new tank. Which do you think would be better for them? A hexagon shaped tank (height is good as they grow and have long fins) or a retangular shaped tank (as they are having territory issues and it's more space?) :/

I'd go rectangular. Your angels looks like they have the veil fins, so they should have more room to stretch them out. They'll grow longer more than taller.

I agree with everyone in that you should get a bigger tank. My brother had two angels in a 10 and one killed the other. My brother bought another one, and he killed that one too. Angels are vicious little buggers.

I would go for a Hex, as it is taller, and veil tails can get 16 inches of finnage, so hex is the better choice.

Oh okie thank you. I just hope that since it isn't big width wise they'll be okie with territory as that's a huge issue right now.

Make sure you cycle, btu you might want to get some BioZyme, as it can cycle a tank( in my experience) in about a day, other wise, you will have to wait a month. BioZyme is around 3 dollars.

The fastest way to cycle is to use the filter medium from your old tank in the new tank. If you are getting rid of the small tank, just take it all out and put it in the new filter if you buy one, or even use your old filter. No cycling needed. :)
